BETTY ALICE ERICKSON, MS, LPC, MFT

has authored numerous professional articles and chapters, and co-wrote and edited Hope and Resiliency and Milton H. Erickson, MD, An American Healer. She has served as Editor in Chief of the Milton H. Erickson Foundation Newsletter and as Keynote Speaker for national and international conferences. Betty Alice was the first recipient of the Franco Granone Prize of the Centro Italiano di Ipnosi Clinica Sperimentale. She practices in Dallas, Texas.

ERIC GREENLEAF, PH.D

author of The Problem of Evil: Ancient Dilemmas and Modern Therapy, has practiced, taught, and written about hypnotherapy for thirty-five years. He presents internationally on dreams, hypnosis, Balinese trance, and imagery. Eric was the first recipient of the Milton H. Erickson Award of Scientific Excellence for Writing in Hypnosis. He practices in Albany CA.

LORI GREENLEAF, PH.D, MFT

practices in Mill Valley and Albany CA, using art therapy, hypnosis, and EMDR. She works with adults, adolescents, and children, emphasizing communication and self-expression in the resolution of problems. Lori has given art therapy and creative expression workshops in America and Europe.

DEBORAH JOY-HARGER, PH.D, MFT

A founding member of MHEIBA, Deborah Joy-Harger is co-director of the Center for Non-Abusive Relationships, teaches counseling psychology and hypnosis at Bay Area colleges and leads workshops internationally on hypnotherapy, intimacy, divorce recovery, and domestic violence. She practices psychotherapy and hypnotherapy in Albany CA.

A founding member of MHEIBA, Patricia Gruber, MFT, is currently President of The Peter Gruber Foundation, a philanthropic organization that offers international prizes in the fields of cosmology, genetics, neuroscience, justice and women's rights..

LINDA SILVER, MFT

a founding member of MHEIBA, conducts a private psychotherapy practice in San Francisco and San Rafael. Linda has served as administrator, clinician, consultant and educator to several Bay area Hospice programs. Linda is an intern supervisor for the Somatic Psychotherapy Program at CIIS. With a background in Nursing, Linda has special interest in helping people with health and wellbeing as well as with the challenge of loss and grief. She works with individuals and couples and integrates EMDR and Hypnosis in her therapy to create change and also to assist people to prepare for surgery, medical treatments and other challenges.

founding president of The Rosen Institute and Director of the Rosen Method Center Southwest, is associated with MHEIBA in providing body-based trainings. She practices bodywork, movement therapy, and hypnotherapy in Santa Fe NM and Orinda CA and teaches at Ghost Ranch, Santa Fe and internationally.
