InBODY Somatic Education For Therapists

InBody Somatic Education experiential workshops are individually designed to meet the needs for specific groups such as psychotherapists, licensed medical professionals, body therapists and teachers. Body-based awareness skills are taught to enhance observation and communication with clients and students.

Have you ever wondered how to bridge the gap between body and mind within the therapeutic process?

Informed by the work of Marion Rosen, PT, founder of Rosen Method bodywork and movement and in the tradition of Ericksonian hypnotherapy, this class will teach you skills that will enhance your work with clients.

In this course, you will learn:

o How to integrate and enhance your own therapeutic skills with awareness of the body. This will be learned through observation of posture, attitude, movement and breath.

o Understand how the body/mind functions in a healthy, balanced way.

o Connect metaphor with body stance and attitudes.

o Though touch techniques are not taught, participants will be led through a clothed hands-on exercise to enhance the experience of body/mind integration.

o Continuing Education Units 42 hours (MIL0490031001)
