In each meeting we explore through stories, myths, and conversation, the various archetypes involved in father-daughter relationship. The psychological exploration is balanced with practical group support for the actual tests each one of the members faces in his own family.
The goal is to help each father be a positive influence in his daughter’s challenging teenage period, and help her pass safely into womanhood.
The fee for the whole series is $320 when paid in advance. A monthly payment arrangement is possible.

The loss of a parent can shake the very foundation of our lives. Old issues may be churned up along with intense emotion. Many questions arise-- about personal identity, about family patterns and legacy, about the unknown. Yet as adults, we are expected to take it in stride, or to be "over it by now."
ART BASED SOCIAL SKILLS GROUPS FOR CHILDREN AND TEENS
Creative projects help children and teens with attention, learning and
hyperactivity issues. Such projects help them explore unique talents
as well as develop their personal voice and sense of identity. My
approach to art-based social skills groups offers young participants
multiple opportunities to practice discussing and sharing what they
make. These sessions offer experience collaborating and
problem-solving on group projects with peers. Group activities include
self-portraits, terrarium building, storytelling, and interactive
games.

TO THROW YOUR HEART OVER THE FENCE
The title of this workshop draws from a lesson in the world of horsemanship: Approaching a fence at full gallop, the rider must first throw his heart over the fence. The horse will follow. The emphasis in the workshop is on human contact—on freedom in relationship with others and within oneself—to clear the hurdles presented to the heart.
