The Milton H. Erickson Institute of the Bay Area (MHEIBA) offers three areas of professional services:

 

Psychotherapy, Hypnosis and Body-Based Therapy


We offer professional psychotherapy, hypnosis and body-based therapy through our individual practices throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our licensed professionals include psychologists, marriage and family therapists, clinical social workers, nurses, physicians, Feldenkrais and Rosen practitioners.

Self Hypnosis CD, DVD or Books

 

We offer hypnosis-related books and self hynposis CDs and DVDs to augment and enhance self-development and individual therapy. These include  self hypnosis CDs produced by the Hypnosis Network.

Our hypnosis books and professional articles cover a broad range of topics in psychology, relationship, and hypnosis. They can be ordered through this website.

 

Hypnosis Training and CEU Credit Programs


We offer professional hypnotherapy training and consultation to licensed practitioners and graduate students in medicine, social work, nursing, psychology and counseling. We train in Ericksonian hypnotherapy, grief work, workplace relations, couples therapy, shamanic counseling, Gesalt therapy, Feldenkrais methods, etc.

MHEIBA is an approved provider of CEU credits for psychologists, MFTs, LCSWs, and RNs.

Our associates consult with a variety of organizations, offering consultation in many aspects of psychotherapy, body-based approaches, organizational development and early childhood mental health. We present at civic organizations, professional associations, international conferences, universities and retreats.

In addition to our international presentations we lead groups to study trance possession and healing in Bali, Indonesia. We provide an inside view of Balinese ritual and trance activities that is unavailable to tourists. Working closely with our Balinese guides, we lead therapists, anthropologists, and interested lay people in a truly unforgettable experience.
