A Relaxing Invitation to Hypnosis offers a brief hypnotic experience in a unique style.
MHEIBA is an association of licensed mental health professionals providing hypnotic psychotherapy to the San Francisco Bay Area community. Our diverse members are experienced with a wide variety of human problems, treating adult individuals and couples, adolescents, children and families.
We train and supervise mental health and medical professionals, and offer workshops and presentations in Ericksonian hypnosis and therapy, both locally and internationally. We also conduct trance possession study trips to Bali.

The exchange of stories is fundamental to Ericksonian hypnosis and therapy. Learn how Betty Alice and Eric craft stories and employ therapeutic storytelling. Then, practice accessing the rich resource of your own narratives to respond to and utilize patients’ “presentations” in therapy.

John and Eric attended one of Dr. Erickson's last week-long seminars for therapists, in 1979. Now, newly discovered recordings of that seminar have been digitized and transcribed.
John will discuss the student experience of Erickson’s presence and of his stories, and share selections of the seminar recorded in Erickson’s own voice. Every workshop participant will receive a selected recording of Erickson’s teaching and a full transcript of the day-long sessions held in Erickson’s office. 10 hours of CEU credit for PhD, PsyD, MFT, RN and LCSW license holders.
