Marta Nowak-Kulpa is a psychologist and Ericksonian psychotherapist working with the Polish Ericksonian Institute. A Member of the International Society of Hypnosis, she has her own therapeutic practice in Gliwice/Poland. Since 2013 she has been a member of the reconstructive team in the Surgery Clinic at the Maria Curie-Sklodowska National Institute of Oncology, which in 2023 performed the first ever lifesaving face transplant. Marta is the co-author of the book, Transplantation of the Upper Limb and Face.
Marta provides international trainings in the use of metaphor and healing storytelling. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, she has been recording therapeutic stories for patients to listen to on her YouTube channel.
